Your work, across every board
Ugo tells you which items are assigned to you and which are overdue.
The simplest way to use monday.com from WhatsApp is Ugo, an AI assistant with its own WhatsApp number: switch on monday.com on the Ugo portal, sign in with your account and from then on you ask it what you’ve got to do, what’s overdue and where a board stands. New items, statuses, dates and updates only go ahead once you confirm.
monday.com boards are made for a big screen: columns, groups, filters. When you’re out, all you need is to know what’s coming up and leave the team an update, but on your phone even that takes a few too many taps.
With Ugo you ask in the chat “what’s overdue?” or “summarise the Product launch board” and get the answer in a few lines, with a link to the item. To mark something as done or add an item, a message is all it takes: Ugo shows you the change and waits for your “Confirm”.
It takes a few minutes. You do the first two steps only once, then you connect as many apps as you like.
Sign up at app.ciaougo.com with your email and password and enter your company name.
In Settings → WhatsApp, generate a code and send it in a chat to Ugo’s number: from then on Ugo recognises your number.
On the Ugo portal, open Skills and connect monday.com.
Sign in with your account and authorise Ugo, with monday.com’s official sign-in, to read and update boards and updates. Accept all the permissions requested, otherwise Ugo can’t use it.
Send “What’s overdue?” in your chat with Ugo: if it replies with your items, the connection works.
Ugo tells you which items are assigned to you and which are overdue.
It summarises a board for you: how many items per status, what’s stuck, what’s due.
Ugo creates it in the right board and group, with status and date, and assigns it to you if you like.
It marks an item as done, moves a deadline or writes an update for the team, after your OK.
Summarise the Product launch board
Product launch has 14 items: • Done: 8 • Working on it: 4 • Stuck: 2 (“Catalogue photos”, “Website copy”) Due this week: “Press release”, Friday.
Move the press release to Monday and write that we’re waiting for the photos
“Press release”: • Date: Monday 19 • Update: “Waiting for the photos” Shall I go ahead?
Ugo isn’t the only option. Here are the most common alternatives, and when they make sense.
