Emergencies that turn the day upside down
A leak in a third-floor flat won’t wait. Fitting it in means moving two jobs, telling two customers and recalculating the route, all while driving to the emergency.
A leak to stop, a boiler to service, a bathroom to refit. Ugo keeps your diary, reminds you of services coming due, prepares quotes and updates customers from your number, even with a voice note while you’re under a sink. It asks you to confirm before every action.
An app for plumbers has to work with wet hands. That’s why Ugo works on WhatsApp: send it a voice note and it uses the diary, email, contacts and job folders you’ve connected. There’s no new job management software to open: Ugo is a contact in your chats that acts as your office assistant.
Plumbing mixes emergencies with planned work: the leak that can’t wait, the blocked drain, the boiler that locks out on the first cold day, alongside bathroom refits, boiler and water heater replacements, air conditioning and heat pumps. Then there are the annual boiler services, which customers forget and you’re the one who has to remember.
Ugo doesn’t diagnose faults or replace your checks: tightness tests, flue gas analysis, the Benchmark checklist and gas safety records stay your work, done to the regulations. Ugo takes care of the rest: it books jobs, works out your route, tells you which services are due next month and drafts messages to customers. Everything it sends or creates goes out after your “Confirm”.
Emergencies come without warning. The rest of the schedule pays the price.

Hundreds of customers with a service due every year. If you don’t contact them, someone else will, and rebuilding the due dates from a notebook or an Excel sheet takes whole evenings.
The bathroom refit, the boiler swap, the heat pump with a possible grant to look into: the customer wants the quote quickly, but you only write it when you get home.
Every delay means a phone call. Answering everyone, one by one, while you’re under a sink is impossible, and customers who hear nothing get annoyed.
Everyday situations, sorted with a message.
An urgent leak comes in. You tell Ugo with a voice note: it moves the next job, creates the emergency in your diary and drafts messages for the customers affected, which go out from your WhatsApp Business after you confirm.

🎤 Voice message (0:12)
Here’s what I’ll do: • Create “Emergency leak – Ross, 7 Mill Lane” at 10:30 • Move the Martin boiler service from 10:30 to 12:00 • Message Mrs Martin from your number that you’ll be there around midday Shall I go ahead?
You keep a list of customers’ boilers in an Excel sheet on OneDrive. Ugo reads it, tells you whose service is due and drafts a message for each one, suggesting an appointment.

Who has a boiler service due in November?
In the file “Customer boilers.xlsx”, 14 services are due in November. The first five: 1. Bennett – 21 Park Road 2. Coleman – 9 Queen Street 3. Evans – 4 Hill Street 4. Green – 18 York Road 5. Morris – 2 Market Square Shall I draft a message for each one offering to book the service?
Once the site visit is done you dictate the items: strip-out, pipework, sanitaryware, labour. Ugo fills in your template on Drive with the customer’s details, saves it in the job folder and emails it once you give the OK.

Conway bathroom quote: new pipework and waste, shower tray, wall-hung sanitaryware, 4 days
I’ve filled in the “Bathroom quote” template for Paul Conway, 12 Castle Street, with the items you gave me. Shall I save it as a PDF in “Jobs/Conway” and email it to him?
The job before is taking longer than planned. Ask Ugo to let the next customer know: it works out the travel time with traffic and sends them a realistic time from your number.

Tell Coleman I’m running late, I’ll be done here in 20 minutes
From here to 9 Queen Street takes about 15 minutes with the traffic right now. I’ll message Julia Coleman from your number: “Hi Julia, I’m running a bit late with my previous job, I’ll be with you around 11:40. Sorry about that!” Shall I send it?
Emergencies, services and quotes, with an assistant always in your pocket.
Ugo sends you the day’s jobs and the fastest route to do them.
An urgent leak: with one voice note Ugo rearranges the morning and lets the customers you’ve moved know once you’ve given the OK.
You’re running late: Ugo sends the next customer a time worked out with the traffic.
At the merchant, you ask Ugo for the make and serial number of the Bennett boiler, saved in your customer sheet.
You dictate the items from the site visit and Ugo prepares the quote from your template.
At the start of each month, a scheduled task lists the boiler services coming due.
A few tools, the ones you already use. Ugo brings them together on WhatsApp.
Confirmations, delays and service reminders go out from your number. The customer replies there and you see everything in the app.
A sheet on OneDrive or Google Drive with customer, address, make and model and date of the last service. Ugo reads it, adds rows and updates dates after you confirm.
Google Calendar or Outlook for your jobs, your contacts to find a customer by name. Ugo moves, creates and lets people know, always after your “Confirm”.
With Company websites, Ugo reads the pages of boiler, heat pump and sanitaryware manufacturers and summarises the information published there, with a link to the page.
The most useful Ugo features for this job, starting with the first one to turn on. You switch them on from the portal in a few minutes.
For invoices and the books, use the accounting software your accountant recommends. For diary, customers, quotes and services, Ugo is built for people who are out all day: it works on WhatsApp, understands voice notes and doesn’t ask you to learn a new program.
Yes, if you keep the dates in a connected sheet or calendar. Ugo tells you whose service is due and drafts a message for each one, which goes out from your WhatsApp Business or by email after you confirm. With a scheduled task you can have the list sent to you every month.
No. Gas safety records, service records and the Benchmark checklist are completed by you, with the results of your own checks, and only a Gas Safe registered engineer can carry out gas work and notify a new installation. Ugo can remind you of due dates and find documents you’ve already done in your customers’ folders.
That’s exactly who it’s built for: if you work on your own you don’t have anyone in the office, and Ugo fills that role. If you have staff, each of them can have their own Ugo in the same team.
Ugo only replies to verified WhatsApp numbers, its servers and database are in Frankfurt, and it only works on files in the folders you choose. No message goes out without your “Confirm”.
Associations, bodies and official sources for the sector: external websites, independent of Ugo.
Connect your diary, contacts and folders in a few minutes. Services don’t get forgotten, and customers always know when you’re coming.
