Who is behind Ugo?
Ugo is made by Bagubits, a web and software development agency founded in 2012 in Cuneo, Italy. For more than ten years we’ve been designing websites, applications and custom CRM and ERP systems for businesses, and Ugo grew out of what we saw working with them: real work increasingly goes through WhatsApp.
Bagubits was founded in 2012 with a passion for the web. Over the years, specialising took us from websites to custom solutions: bespoke management software, CRM and ERP systems, mobile apps and integrations between systems. We’re an Odoo partner, and every day we work with companies that want to get better organised.
Working with our clients, we noticed something: even in the most organised companies, a huge share of the work happens on WhatsApp, far from the management software. Ugo is our answer: an assistant that brings the tools companies already use into WhatsApp, instead of asking people to change their habits.
Our method is the same as for our custom projects: listen, try things out, improve with constant feedback.

Servers and database are in Frankfurt. Voice notes are transcribed on our own servers, with no external transcription services.
