The AI assistant for confectionery sales reps

Easter eggs to book at the start of winter, advent calendars at the end of summer, sweets for Halloween, counter display units for the café. Ugo helps you keep on top of campaigns, customers and whatever’s left after the season.

Confectionery sales reps live through a year marked by the seasons. Chocolate, pralines, sweets, gum, biscuits and snacks sell all year round, but Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s Day and Halloween are campaigns in their own right, with bookings to close months ahead. Ugo is an AI assistant on WhatsApp that helps you keep every campaign under control, customer by customer, from the first pitch to the last delivery.

Your customers are many and small, as well as a few big ones. Cafés, newsagents, convenience stores, card shops and vending operators buy by the case and want the counter display unit. Supermarkets and confectionery wholesalers think in planograms and volumes. Then there’s the heat: in summer chocolate travels badly and many shops take it off the shelf. And after every season comes the most awkward question: what do we do with the unsold stock?

With Ugo you track seasonal bookings on a board, find new outlets in the area, create display unit proposals from your template and find return emails in a moment. You can also ask him every Monday morning who’s still missing for the next season. Before he changes or sends anything he shows you what he’ll do and waits for your “Confirm”.

The confectionery rep’s tough seasons

Every season is a campaign, and every campaign has its deadlines.

Seasonal bookings months in advance

Easter eggs are booked in the depths of winter, Christmas lines at the end of summer. You have to speak to dozens of customers in a few weeks and remember who’s confirmed, who’s thinking about it and who needs a call back.

Unsold stock after the season

After Easter or Halloween customers ask for returns, discounts or stock swaps. Every principal has its own rules, and the requests all arrive at once, by email and in person.

So many small outlets

Cafés, newsagents and vending operators are everywhere and change hands often. Finding the new ones in an area and remembering what each one displays takes organisation.

Display units and materials to pitch

The counter display unit sells, but it has to be offered with clear terms: assortment, minimum quantity, duration. Rewriting the same proposal for every customer is time wasted.

FAQs about confectionery sales reps

How should I organise Easter and Christmas bookings?

Prepare the customer list before the campaign starts, beginning with those who bought last year, and give each one a date by which to contact them. Then track the status: to contact, waiting, confirmed. Ugo works on a monday.com board: he tells you who’s running late and updates status and quantities after every call.

How do I deal with unsold stock after a season?

Know your principal’s rules on returns, stock swaps and discounts beforehand, and explain them to the customer when they order, not afterwards. When the requests arrive, gather them all in one place. Ugo searches emails about returns, sums them up by customer and flags those without a reply.

How do I find new cafés and newsagents to call on?

Start from the areas where you already have customers and widen out neighbourhood by neighbourhood. With the Maps skill Ugo searches for businesses of a given type in an area and gives you up to ten results per search, with address, phone and ratings. Ugo doesn’t scrape: he uses the public information on the map.

Can Ugo help with supermarket accounts too?

Yes, for the organisation: buyer meetings in your diary, emails about promotions and price lists, notes in the CRM if your principal uses one. He isn’t connected to retailers’ systems, so planograms and sales data stay where they are. If they send them to you in Excel, Ugo reads them.

Who in my agency can use Ugo?

Each person has their own account, with their own personal skills connected to their own tools, within a single company team. Ugo only answers verified WhatsApp numbers. It costs €50 a month per person, or €550 a year, excl. VAT, with every skill included.

Every campaign under control

Connect monday.com, Drive and email: Ugo tells you who’s missing for the next season and prepares the proposals.
