The AI assistant for grocery sales reps and agents

Pasta, rice, oil, tinned tomatoes, pulses, spices: products customers re-order every month and that live on price and promotions. Ugo reminds you what each one bought, who’s signed up for the promo and what’s missing from the shelf.

Grocery sales reps sell the store cupboard: pasta, rice, olive and sunflower oil, tinned tomatoes, pulses, flour, cooking sauces, vinegars and spices. Ugo is an AI assistant on WhatsApp that helps you look after dozens of customers who re-order often, on tight margins, with minimum orders to respect and promotions that change every month. Text him or send a voice note, and he answers using your price lists, your email and your order history.

Your job is about consistency. Independent grocers, convenience stores and symbol group retailers want regular re-stocking and the right promotion for the next cycle. Wholesalers and cash & carries think in pallets and end-of-quarter terms. Restaurants and contract caterers want large catering packs, 10 litre drums of oil, 5 kg bags of pasta. Meanwhile the oil price moves, promotion sign-ups close and end-of-line stock needs placing.

With Ugo your order history, promotion calendar and price lists are one message away. He tells you what a customer bought last month, warns you about promotions about to close and drafts the messages to pitch them. Before he sends anything to a customer or a principal he shows you the text and waits for your “Confirm”. So the re-order comes in before the customer rings the wholesaler.

The daily grind of a grocery sales rep

Simple products, complicated management: lots of codes, lots of customers, lots of re-orders.

Re-orders to remember, customer by customer

The corner shop on the high street takes tinned tomatoes every three weeks, the convenience store takes pasta every month. If you don’t call at the right moment, the customer re-orders from the wholesaler and you lose the sale.

Promotions with tight deadlines

Your principal sends the promotion calendar, and customers must sign up by a set date to be included. Collecting everyone’s sign-up in time, between emails and phone calls, is a race.

Prices that keep moving

Oil, rice and tinned goods change price more often than you’d like. The customer remembers the old price, you need the new one to hand and the date it applies from.

Channels with different rules

Retail thinks in cases, wholesale in pallets, catering in bulk packs. Minimum orders, on-invoice discounts and year-end rebates change for every channel and every principal.

How Ugo helps the grocery sales rep

Re-orders, promotions, wholesalers: everyday situations.

What the customer bought last time

Before you walk into the shop, ask Ugo for the customer’s history from your Excel file on OneDrive. He tells you what they ordered and when, so you suggest the right re-order and spot straight away what they’ve stopped buying.

FAQs about grocery sales reps

How do I keep track of re-orders from independent retailers?

Keep a simple history, even an Excel file, with date, customer and products. That’s enough to see how often each one re-orders and who has stopped buying a line. Ugo reads that sheet on OneDrive, answers before the call and adds the new order lines after you confirm.

How do I collect promotion sign-ups in time?

Start from the principal’s deadline and set your own a few days earlier. Then contact customers with a short message: products, discount, dates. Ugo sums up the promotional email, drafts the message for WhatsApp Business or email and sends it only when you tap “Confirm”.

Does Ugo work if I sell to wholesalers and cash & carries?

Yes. With wholesalers what matters is pallet terms and order status. If your principal uses Odoo, Ugo reads quotations and sales orders. Otherwise he works from the Excel price lists and your email, where confirmations and requests arrive, and helps you prepare pallet quotes from your template on Google Drive.

Can I use Ugo with Outlook if my agency runs on Microsoft 365?

Yes. There are dedicated Outlook skills for calendar, email and contacts, plus OneDrive for Word and Excel. Connect the account from the portal and ask Ugo about appointments, emails and price lists just as you would with Google. You can also mix them: Outlook email and price lists on Google Drive, for example, if a principal uses different tools from yours.

How much does Ugo cost and what’s included?

It costs €50 a month per person or €550 a year, excl. VAT. Every skill is included, CRM, Maps and voice messages too, with no add-on modules. The price doesn’t change with the number of customers or principals you look after.

No re-order forgotten

Connect your order history and your principals’ email: Ugo tells you who to call on and what to offer them.
